The course will give the student a good theoretical introduction to the safe use of personal lifts as well as good insight into the personal lifts structure, behavior, maintenance and use.

Passing a practical test will be the basis for the issuance of a certificate of competence for the driver of the person lift in the chosen class.

• Requirements for driver of personal lift

• Applications for the different machine types

• Laws and regulations

• Accidents involving personal lifts

• Building up different personal lifts

• Risk assessment

• Safety precautions before, during and after work

• Control and maintenance

 

The course ends with a written exam. Upon passing the exam and documented practice, each participant receives a certificate for classes of personal lifts for which they have practice.
