Heat Working basic course

 

Mtk Skolen AS is a course and competence center. The activities are based on a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. The safety center offers courses, exercises and other activities related to safety and security for the company's employees and managers. Here, everyone can train in a realistic and safe environment with professional instructors.

The course is set up as a combination of theory,
practical exercises and demonstrations with concluding
exam.

 

The course content includes:

 

- Fire theory
- Laws and regulations
- Hazards from hot work
- Safety measures before, during and after completed work

 

The aim of the course is to give the person performing hot work the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to the safe execution of the job. The course ends with a written exam. Upon passing the exam and documented firefighting exercise that is not older than 2 years, each of the participants receives a certificate for hot work from the Norwegian Fire Protection Association. Validity of the certificate is 5 years.
